Enroll in the Pre-Licensing Course (XCEL)
This is step one for every hire. The pre-licensing course determines if someone is officially on the team. Once they enroll and send you the order confirmation screenshot — they’re hired.
Open XCEL Portal
Walk them through it step by step:

First dropdown → select their resident state

Second dropdown → “Get License”

Third dropdown → “Life” — NOT “Life and Health”

Hit “Find Courses” — they’ll see exactly one course

Add to cart — only $50 (normally $200 — we’re contracted through the union with XCEL 🙌)

When asked “Do you have an XCEL account?” — hit “No” and create a new account
